Job duties

  • Oversee the acquisition and scheduling of freight loads and transportation services to ensure efficient utilization of company trucks and drivers.
  • Direct the allocation and coordination of transportation resources, including trucks, drivers, fuel, and routing schedules.
  • Forecast and coordinate freight demand with available transportation capacity to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
  • Monitor operational risks related to transportation activities, including delivery delays, equipment issues, and route disruptions, and implement corrective measures.
